Where to get robes of the spiral eye

Sets like: Spiral Eye, The Overseer and the Champion - I have equipped each piece, but couldn't instantly see a benefit although admittedly I didn't study the stats that hard. Everything in this game can critical: Weapon skills, Weapon attacks including staff attacks , and even Spells. The cake was never a lie, it was just poisoned. Usually I just stick with the Mercenary's Light Strapping and random boots and gloves for act 1, Spiral Eye set for act 2 and then Champion set for act 3.

I've finished the game on hard with little problems so I know it doesn't cripple your character that much. The Spiral Eye set is really the only decent looking "robe" i've seen. The notorious pirate looks good on a woman but on a guy I find it too puffy. The velvet robe thing is too plain. But the Spiral Eye set is half decent, looks like a blend of robes and a jacket and is fancy enough to fit in with the noble side of Hawke's character. I got a set of Teventer something that was armor like jerkin and pants rather than a robe it was in the mansion during Fenris' act 1 quest. Only thing is it'll be a random enemy drop.

Course though, if one is hiding from the templars one should not be throwing around wild foeces of nature from one hands or a really big stick. That would tend to give one away more so thatn the clothes one has on.
